Ashley
Gold on Grand Salon founder Ashley Flores began her career in the industry over 15 years ago. Ashley graduated from Paul Mitchell The School in 2007 before seeking out other opportunities to further develop her skills. Ashley received training at Vidal Sassoon and Davines, where she learned techniques for precision haircutting, styling, and coloring. She went on to travel as national Davines Color Educator for six years.
Ashley is an expert colorist specializing in natural / lived-in blondes and redheads / coppers. Certified in multiple methods, extensions are Ashley’s true passion.
When Ashley is not at the salon she loves exploring Los Angeles, traveling with her husband, and cuddling with her dogs in her backyard.
Michael
Michael Matteson joins Gold on Grand with more than twenty years as a Managing Cosmetologist. Michael is a Master Colorist and Haircutter and has held licenses in three states. His expansive career has earned him many awards and the opportunity to train throughout the world.
“In 2016 I received an award that took me to Milan. While there I traveled to Sienna and studied haircutting with one of the old Masters. This training really helped me see that I have as much to teach as I do to learn.”
Michael is known for providing high quality services to all gender and ethnicity. With his creative approach and attention to detail, Michael creates new trends and classic looks tailored specifically for you.
“My ideal guest is someone open-minded who likes to have fun and is willing to help me guide them through their hair journey.”
In his free time, Michael enjoys drawing, painting and adventuring.
Andrea
Andrea Quillen’s career in the hair industry began in 2018. Upon graduating, she has worked alongside master colorists and educators, while continuing to refine her expertise through balayage, cutting, and color classes.
Andrea’s true passion behind the chair is in creating seamless, sunkissed, effortless color that enhances her client’s natural hair texture. She loves creating undone, dimensional blondes and brunettes so that her clients feel like they just walked off the beach.
When Andrea is not in the salon, you can find her relaxing with her pup, road-tripping, or dancing around a festival.

Citlaly
¡Hola! Citlaly, or Lollie (for short), began her hairstyling career over 16 years ago. She graduated from Marinello School of Beauty in 2006 and has continued to perfect her craft through a variety of training and classes.
Lollie loves doing lived-in color (especially on brunettes) and blonde transformations for clients. She specializes in textured cuts, razor cuts and shags. A self-proclaimed bangs whisperer, she loves to create low maintenance, cool, wearable looks that enhance her clients’ natural texture.
In her free time, Lollie loves going to the movies, day-drinking at Disneyland, having mini road-trips with her husband, and catching up on her Bravo shows with her pets.
